Greg comes from a long line of Calaveras County residents, spanning six generations. His upbringing was rooted in Bear Valley and Angels Camp, and he continues to reside in Angels Camp to this day. Greg's journey began in the family business at Bear Valley/Mt. Reba ski area, where he honed his skills in maintenance and grooming. Later, he transitioned to a local construction company in Calaveras County, dedicating twenty-four years to that role.

For the past fifteen years, Greg has been an integral part of Ca State Parks at Big Trees, serving as an equipment operator and contributing to maintenance efforts. His early experiences on his grandfather's cattle ranch shaped his connection to ranching, a passion he continues by raising his own cattle on his ranch.

As a sixth-generation Calaveras County resident, Greg feels deeply privileged to live, work, and ranch in this area. He sees serving on the board as a way to give back and ensure the preservation of this legacy for future generations. Greg's wealth of experience and unwavering dedication to the board are aimed at preserving generational knowledge and safeguarding local control for years to come
